FreeAgent Go 80GB External Drive

Strengths: Easy to install and use....no hassles

Weakness: None

Quick Delivery and a great price. I checked out a lot of other sources for a good price on this item and price grabber was the cheapest. This is also a very easy to use hard drive. Even the mpst inexperienced computer user can use it with no problems.

Best external drive ever

Strengths: small factor size, reliable, fast

Weakness: bundled software was useless for me

The drive is really great and you get what is promised. It is made very well and I am not sure why anyone would need a case for that. I also like the light on this drive, which shows if it is on or transferring data. Some people complain that it requires 2 USB ports, which is not entirely true. Most new PCs and laptops would need just one. My Dell 6000 and Sony laptops need just one of the usb...

FreeAgent

Strengths: small fast good looking

Weakness: the USB cord has to be plugged into two usb ports in order for it to work.

If I had know about the USB ports I would not have bought this item. As this item requires a special USB cable that is supplied by Seagate it means that you have to take both when ever you use another computer.

FreeAgent Go 80GB External Hard Drive (USB 2.0,...

Strengths: Light weight, Mordern design, 5 year warranty, Fast access speed, Quiet

Weakness: Must use 2 usb ports, Larger size, No case included, Useless software for me

Overall quality is so-so to good. I'm satisfied its speed (5400 rpm). whenever I plugin, it just recognizes as usb 2.0 (my previous external hdd sometimes says it will work at 1.1 usb.. I don't know why). Its design is good enough except large size and non square shape. Although this drive is external, no case comes with it. What I'm mostly unsatisfied with it is that it has to be used 2 usb...

Seagate FreeAgent Go (80GB)

THE GOOD: Fast data transfer speed; file/folder sync capability; Ceedo lets you take your PC environment with you; generous warranty. THE BAD: The Ceedo and Argo lists of approved programs are limited. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Seagate FreeAgent Pro operates as both a hard drive and a portable PC environment, but even if youre not interested in the Ceedo program, the FreeAgent Pro offers fast speeds...
