Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 200 GB Internal Hard...Strengths: Fast UATA/100 transfer, easy installation, 8MB buffer Weakness: None so far I had to snatch up this OEM drive at $100 after rebate. I'm using it as an external drive with a Plumax USB2 enclosure (add another $40). This combination is a bargain compared with retail external drives about this size which will run you $250-$300. Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 200 GB Internal Hard...Strengths: Quiet for 7200RPM, better packaging than what the WD drives come in, large capacity, 5 year warranty, comes with a 40 pin / 80 wire cable and mounting screws. Weakness: Unless you believe there's much of a difference between ATA100 & ATA133, then really there isn't much weakness here. Drive installed with XP SP2 no problem, and was quicker than my previous install using a Western Digital WD2000JB. Drive is very quiet in contrast to both the WD and Maxtor 7200RPM drives I have in other systems. Weakness: retail kit does not have 5.25 in drive adapter rails Bought drive at a great price at a local store during labor day sale. Surprised to read that the manufacturer extended the warranty to 5 years as of July 2004. ATA 100, IDE and 8MB ensure backward compatibility. A stellar expansion of storage.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 200 GB Internal Hard...Strengths: Large 200GB capacity, 7200RPM, 8MB Cache Weakness: None yet I highly recommend the Seagate 200GB for its large capacity, 8MB cache, 7200RPM, and fair price. It seems much quieter than other hard drives and fairly quick. Too bad it doesn't have a three year warranty like some of the other large hard drive manufacturers, however, it does provide better documentation, backup software, and the standard one year warranty. A great buy!

Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 200 GB Internal Hard...Strengths: Easy to install. Fast drive. Relatively quiet. Weakness: None yet. Make sure that your bios will recognize this large of drive. This is the third Seagate Barracuda I have own. Love them all. This is a great hard drive at a good price.

Reliable - I've used Seagate HDDs for the last 10 years, and they have proven to be the best! Weakness: Warranty only for 1 year on retail drives. (Used to be longer.)
