Apex 500W ATX POWER SUPPLY ALUMINUM 2BB FAN ADJ FAN...Strengths: Very quiet, cool, adjustable fan speed. At lowest speed you can hardly hear it and keeps cool. Weakness: None Has this power supply running an overclocked Pentium 4 3.0 GHz, 800 MHz, 400 Double DDR, Mother board with giga LAN, two S-ATA RAID controllers, two 10.000 RPM HD, two regular HD, DVD-ROM, and 8X DVD writer, ATI RADON 9600 PRO, Scanner and other accessories with no problems at lowest fan speed with out a noice and its stays cool at all times.

A Good 500w Choice
Strengths: Stable and dependable power supply. I have purchased 2 of these over the last couple of years. One for a 3.4e w/ 6800GT s478 mobo and the other for a 3.8 w/ dual SLI 6800GT and have zero problems.
Weakness: I dont care for the multi color fan. I replace it with fans which match the case theme. Normally a one color (red, blue, etc) fan.
I have purchased this twice and going to purchase it again. Both computers I have installed this power supply in are doing fine after 2 years of constant running in raided systems with the power hungery 6800GT video cards installed. Now I have to replace a failed factory case PS. So, if it works why change?
