Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: On/Off Switch Compact in size, but feels sturdy. Worth every penny!

Weakness: None so far.

I bought this mouse based on the earlier reviews and I have no regrets. The mouse works great and feels comfortable (while feeling sturdy, imagine that!). I have tested other brands, but they don't feel as solid as this one does.

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: No cords at all, small size.

Weakness: does not scroll left/right

Although I've only had this mouse a day, I already like it better than the other mice I've used. Last night I was using my laptop PC while watching TV and did not have a table or desk nearby so was using it on my lap (hey, it's a laptop). I needed to scroll through some lists and point and click and do not like the little pointing pad that comes built in. There is just enough flat surface to run...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: A solid feeling, truly portable wireless optical mouse. No problems with tracking or reception.

Weakness: Simple functions - two buttons and one wheel, but that's all I needed.

I tried an A4Tech wireless, which also tracked fine, but this feels better in the hand. I wanted the USB plug for my laptop, and it works great. There was no need to install the mouse software, XP recognized it immediately. Rechargeable batteries are NOT included (just two AA Duracells). I will use two AA Nimh that I have for my camera anyway. The on/off button is handy when you finish work, and...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: Flawless installation and operation. Great scroll wheel. Nice size/shape. Convenient carry pouch.

Weakness: Heavy batteries throw it a bit off-balance. Main buttons click somewhat loudly.

I bought this mouse for my notebook as an alternative to using the touch pad. I chose Logitech because I own and am very satisfied with their other optical and cordless mouse devices. This mouse is smaller than average, but still has a good feel. The batteries throw it a bit off-balance (perhaps lighter rechargeables would help). The buttons and scroll wheel provide positive tactile feedback. The...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: Compact size, comes with a nice storage pouch, has an on/off switch, has decent range, feels like a full-size mouse.

Weakness: Can't really think of any.

The mouse is very easy to install. Just plug and play. It feels good in your hand and it doesn't feel like you need to hold on with just your fingertips, like some other mice. Using the trackpoint or touchpad is ok but having the mouse makes everything so much easier.

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: Easy to carry with free carrying case, precise movement, no bulky RF transmitter, truly cordless.

Weakness: Havent found any.

I purchased this mouse because I wanted a Logitech Mouse with a USB transmitter, and they have finally produced one. All of the other cordless mouses have a transmitter with a cord, so it is not turly cordless. I would recommend this mouse to anyone who travels with a laptop.

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: fast, sensitive, right size

Weakness: None

I believe this notebook mouse is one of the best I tried before. The size of the mouse is a little bit smaller than usual desktop mouse and it is very comfortable and accurate. The on/off switch helps to save battery. I strongly recommend this product.

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: +Uses AA batteries; +Sturdy construction; +Plug-'n'-play with XP; +Only had to connect with the receiver on initial use.

Weakness: -Loud clicks; -USB reciever does not swivel.

I travel 100% for my job and bought the Targus wireless optical mouse first but switched to the Logitech for 3 reasons: 1. Logitech's 2 AAs are much easier to find when travelling in unfamiliar towns and last MUCH longer than Targus' 2 AAAs. 2. Logitech's zippered neoprene pouch is much more protective and secure than Targus' drawstring velvet pouch 3. Logitech has a more sturdy construction...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: This mouse is great, it is very responsive and requires no drivers

Weakness: The only thing that I do not like about this mouse is that the noise it makes when you click is a little loud. I am not sure though if you would call this a weekness.

The first nice thing about this mouse is that XP recognizes it as a HID compliant mouse so you do not need any drivers, just plug in the reviever and you are ready to go. It is perfect for a laptop and even comes with it's own carring case. I read a review that said a cordless mouse on a laptop is stupid, but I would have to disagree. My last mouse stopped working when I got a short in the cable...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse

Strengths: Logitech quality, ease of installation, on/off switch, responsiveness.

Weakness: Are you kidding?

Don't ever let anyone dismiss a cordless mouse for laptops as unnecessary or redundant --- especially this one from Logitech. The optical sensor has a very responsive interaction with the USB RF receiver, and works on practically any surface and at any angle. This is extremely useful when you're juggling the contents of your briefcase in the front seat of the car. The on/off switch is a great...

Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks

Great looking, works well and you can turn it off to save power- at 33, brilliantly executed for portable work (if not necessarily play).
