Tomcat K8E w/Linux

Strengths: Decent AMD 64 motherboard w/good Linux Support.

Weaknesses: Cheesy onboard RAID. NIC options in BIOS are confusing and undocumented.

Review: Don't use cheesy onboard RAID w/Linux. Set secondary nic to RGMII in BIOS to work w/Linux. I used Slamd64 (64bit Slackware port) and compile my own kernel from kernel.org, so I probably experienced more problems than most (because I caused them ;-)
