Nice, when it worksStrengths: Fast and stays pretty cool Weakness: Unreliable. need a second replacement after only two months. This RAM would be good, and I would recommend it, if it were only reliable. I had to file an RMA after 28 days of use, now I need to go to OCZ for replacement after another 33 days of use. The only good thing is that each time only one of the 2 sticks failed, so at least I can still run my PC while getting the RMA figured out. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Dec 16, 2007 I had to replace mine after 31 days of use. I'm without my computer right now and have been since Monday, it's a drag and their RMA process is extremely slow. I sent the RAM FedEx on Tuesday, it got there at 10:30am the next day (I live close) but they didn't acknowledge it as being received until Wednesday even though I have signature proof it was received the day before. Well, it won't even go out again until at least Monday. Slow, slow, slow and I have no desktop computer, only my laptop :( I only had my new machine for a month and now it's gone for a week, it sucks.

Fast ramStrengths: Nice cooling system Weakness: none so far I installed this ram onto a freshly built quad core computer and it does what it is supposed to do. It has a unique cooling copper tube heatsink built on to the top of the ram and would be good for overclockers. It was priced nicely at Microcenter at $139 (after $40 rebate) which is pretty cheap for pc-8500 1066 ram. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

excellent performance
Strengths: cool and fast
Weakness: none so far
using with an intel core 2 duo 3GZ, with standard speeds & settings, and very happy with it. running with 2GB -- gotta buy two more. this replaced my old box with rdram rimm and the price / performance are awesomely different : )
