Exelent HyperX 4GB.

Strengths: Easy to install. Cheap.

Weakness: Slightly poor quality of heatsink.

I really like this ram. HyperX 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 is a great for any PC gamer. It's reliable, and it's very cheap. I run it on Amd 5200+ X2 CPU 3.0GHZ perfectly. I wished that it had a better heatsink for gaming.

Kingston HyperX 4GB PC2-6400

Strengths: Looks very nice, no need to set voltage or timing in bios, didn't cost me as much as Value Ram, and same as 2GB of 4-4-4-12.

Weakness: Same standard 5-5-5-15 timing as Value Ram.

I decided on HyperX because it was a bargain for 2X2GB of quality ram with heat spreaders. My initial choice was 2X1GB ram with more aggressive timing of 4-4-4-12, which would or cost about the same, require going into the bios setting the voltage, etc. I found this $100 ram on sale for $75 with a $15 rebate. I had a $20 off coupon and this $5 review brought the price down to $35. Not bad for 4GB. If not for the tame 5-5-5-15 T-2 timing, I would have given it a five star review.

Kingston HyperX 4GB PC-6400 DDR2 RAM

Strengths: Super Fast RAM with heatspreaders.

Weakness: Price is a little on the high side.

This Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR2 RAM is awesome. I hard no problems installing it and it ran perfect on startup. Its RAM, what more do you want from it? Also if you're running Windows XP 4GB is the max amount of ram the OS will detect unless Microsoft has corrected this problem in SP3. I haven't yet tried this system in Vista, but I bet it runs great because with 1GB of ram it's a little sluggish.
