BFG Technologies GeForce FX 5500 OC Graphics Card

Strengths: Does not run too hot and is eazy to install. (if you do what I say in the weaknesses)

Weakness: Make SURE to D/L the latest driver, dont use the instal disk driver.

I am using it to Play BF-2, and the graphics are very demanding. This card can keep up quite well on low setting with no hesitation or warping. For the price I am very happy with it.

BFG Technologies GeForce FX5500 OC Video Card

Strengths: Good budget gamer card. Comes with NVDVD OEM version

Weakness: No DVI or dual monitor capability.

Good basic serviceable gamer card as long as you don't turn on all the eye candy. Only one VGA port. No DVI port. Not dual monitor capable either. Good budget card. Got it with a $50 rebate. I hope that it is reliable.

BFG GeForce FX5500 OC AGP card

Strengths: Very easy to install. Excellent instructions and online support. Quiet fan. Very good quality of graphics. Lifetime warranty and 24 hour tech support.

Weakness: Slows down when trying to run newer, high end games beyond "medium" graphics settings.

I purchased this card to run in my emachines D6405 with an AMD Athalon 64 3000+ processor and 1 GB memory. Since this was my first time intalling a video card, I was a little nervous. However, the instructions were clear and walked me through the process without incident. After playing Star Wars: Empire at War a few times, I decided to download the latest drivers from Nvidia. With the new drivers, I can play most new games set at "medium" or lower in the video option menu. These settings allow quick gameplay with good graphics quality. Overall I am pleased with the card. It is not for the hardcore gamer. However, if you are a casual gamer who does not want to spend a ton of money for a card, the BFG GeForce 5500 OC video card is a good option.

Good Basic Gaming Card

Strengths: Fast card, Good amount of memory, Great Bang For the Buck.

Weakness: None

I've been running this card for about three years and it runs great. I did run into a small problem, and BFG didn't hesitate to replace it and pay for shipping with no questions asked. When you buy BFG, you're not only getting a great card, you get great service.

Good card for the price and memory

Strengths: Good budget card. Comes with NVDVD OEM version

Weakness: Just one VGA output - your need to add a "splitter" to use PC and watch PC output thru TV.

BFG Technologies GeForce FX5500 OC Video Card
is a good purchase for 256MB card, just see what else you need to accomplish your goals ( we needed to get PC output to TV and use PC at the same time). Hard to beat this price.
